| Crown coins and
Pound notes |
 |
The first silver crown coin was minted in England in 1551 under
King Edward VI. It showed the king on horseback - a very regal
design indeed.
We start our range of British crown coins with the 1953 coronation
crown of Elizabeth II - and it has a design reminiscent of that
original 1551 crown.
The one pound banknotes we have on offer start with a relatively
recent note then wind their way back in time through the wartime
issue to 2 issues from the 1920's.
There are also 2 different signature issues of the famed 'white
fiver' and a very interesting error note from 2002 that most
people would have missed - don;t miss this chance to own one!
------
Older coins and notes vary from item to item but will be in the
same general condition as the item shown.

Album to house banknotes,
10 pages holds 20 notes
This album, made by a compnay called 'Lighthouse' features
pages made of a highly inert type of plastic which means
the plastic does not degrade and damage the quality of
your banknotes - cheaper albums use plastics that will
degrade and the pages can 'stick' to the banknotes.
